★★★★★ I can’t say enough good things about First Class Pavement, Nick, and his fantastic crew! They were hired by a neighbor to work on the road right next to my house, and from the beginning, they went above and beyond. There were some neighborly conflicts that could easily have made the job difficult, but Nick and his crew were incredibly patient, professional, and respectful throughout the whole process. Every single person I interacted with was friendly, hardworking, and just genuinely pleasant to deal with. The paving itself turned out great. They told us it would take two days, and that’s exactly what it took. They worked efficiently and did an excellent job. And to top it off, they had a little material and time left over and generously helped me with the crumbling entrance to my driveway. I was not expecting that at all, and I really appreciated their kindness. First Class Pavement truly lives up to its name. Great work, great communication, and a great crew. I would absolutely recommend Nick and his team!Posted on Yelp

Tom R.May 31, 2026Nicholas has integrity. He did more than I expected and everything was done on time. He said he'd be at my house between 8:30 and 9:00 and he arrived at 8:30. His crew took out the weeds in my driveway, blew off all the rocks and dirt, and layed down a nice even coat on the asphalt, and didn't get a drop on my concrete. Friendly, timely, and at a great price. I'd recommend him to my friends.Posted on Google

Alex HernandezFebruary 28, 2025Nick and Victor did an excellent job paving our neighborhood road in Sunol with some challenges to overcome being that we are in a hilly area with not much room and tight spaces. They transformed a gravel road to a nicely graded road for all our neighbors to safely access their homes. The crew knew what they were doing and hired good drivers as well. I appreciated the attention to details and concern for drainage and the neighborhood.+0Posted on Google
Fred K.January 18, 2024Nick and his crew came back to take on another project of mine. I had a few thousand feet of wood chips I wanted removed and replaced with landscape rock. steven . SagerSeptember 19, 2022I had 3 jobs done by First Class Paving- 1. A private road repaved with asphalt. Their price was very competitive, the work quality was excellent and they did their work extremely timely and met all of our expectations. I would rate them higher than a 5 if I could. 2. The second job was an asphalt overlay and again they did a very good job. 3. The third job was an attempt to create asphalt steps in another area. That was an experiment and didn’t come out to our expectations, but Nick came immediately to address the problem and very professionally made things right for us as consumers. We appreciate vendors who stand fully behind their work and Nick (the owner) did so quickly. I manage a number of properties and Nick is one of the nicest vendors that I’ve had the opportunity to deal with in the past. He is extremely easy to work with and I can highly recommend their work. I manage a number of properties and Nick is one of the very best vendors that I’ve dealt with in over 40 years’ experience of owning and managing properties.Posted on Yelp

Tracy ChapdelaineAugust 15, 2020Nick is one of the few contractors that actually answers his phone. We both got lucky because he had an appointment up the street from us that same day and was able to come by within a few hours. He is polite, knowledgeable and so reasonable with his pricing that we had him do a grading and road base job that we were planning to do ourselves in addition to filling cracks and sealing our asphalt driveway. Everything was done within a few days with his great team. We're very happy with his work.Posted on YelpTracy C.August 15, 2020Nick is one of the few contractors that actually answers his phone and also responds to emails and texts.
