About First Class Paving

My name is Nicholas Stanley and I am a proud 3rd generation paving contractor, born and raised in beautiful Sonoma County. I started operating dump trucks and equipment at 9 years old with my grandfather and fell in love with equipment and the smell of asphalt. My grandfather ran a successful business for years and when the big recession hit in 2008 we hit rock bottom and lost everything. At that time my grandpa was too old and didn’t have the energy to try and rebuild our business and I was at an accountable age to do something with my life so I decided to build a new paving business serving the Santa Rosa area from the ground up.

I can now say we are a thriving successful paving company in Sonoma County once again. In my opinion, there is no better feeling than looking back at the paving you just installed and saying “Man that looks good – I did that”. I take great pride in my work, after all this is my livelihood and I might as well try to be the best at what I do. I’m always searching for new wisdom and always looking for new ways to improve!
